We know the winners of the Warsaw Documentary Award and the VRsawa Award for Best VR (Virtual Reality) Film – this evolving section has been developed by the Millennium Docs Against Gravity Film Festival and Bank Millennium. Both awards are funded by the City of Warsaw.
On May 18 at Teatr Studio in Warsaw took place the Award Ceremony of the 15th Millennium Docs Against Gravity Film Festival. But it’s not the end of the 15th Millennium Docs Against Gravity Film Festival – we still have a weekend of exhilarating film and events ahead of us during the last festival weekend in Warsaw, Wrocław and Lublin. The Gdynia edition takes place until May 25, and the one in Bydgoszcz until May 26.
Two new competitions will take place this year at the 15th edition of Millennium Docs Against Gravity Film Festival. One will be “Shades of Freedom” which is organized by Discovery Poland and the Polish National Film Archive – Audiovisual Institute, and will commemorate the 100th anniversary of Polish Independence. The other will be VRSAWA competition which is dedicated to VR films – a section currently under development by the Festival and Millennium Bank, the main patron of Millennium Docs Against Gravity Film Festival.
