To commemorate the one hundredth anniversary of women’s voting rights, Plac Defilad (Parade Square) will be turned into Women’s Square. The event will simultaneously be the opening of Millennium Docs Against Gravity and the opening of the season of cultural events at Plac Defilad. The day will culminate with a concert by Paulina Przybysz and a guest performance by Katarzyna Nosowska.

Paulina Przybysz has achieved fame with a duo called Sistars, in which she performed along with her sister Natalia. After playing for many years for
various bands, in the fall of 2017 she released her first solo album under her first and last name. The hip-hop styled songs are intertwined
with the soul style of the singer and cover a variety of topics: human relations, love, eroticism, freedom and politics.

The single promoting the release of the album is the track “Dzielne Kobiety” (“Brave Women”). A number of events and film screenings linked to the 100th anniversary of women’s voting rights and women’s rights in the world will take place at the Millennium Docs Against Gravity Film Festival.
