Documentary Academy | Seniors Club: “Faces Places” film screening and a meeting “Artistic relations are age” with film experts, doctoral students ofthe University of Gdańsk and members of the Production Studies and New History of the Cinema Unit Paulina Pohl and Krystyna Weiher-Sitkiewicz

Agnès Varda and JR set off on a trip in an old van which has been converted into a mobile photographic camera. They print large format photographs in it and put them up in the public spaces of local communities. Though the age difference between them is nearly 60 years, what they have in common are similar attitudes to life and artistic sensitivity. After the film screening, we will reflect on how to build intergenerational projects wisely or how to indicate mentors for young artists and how to encourage the two groups on how to act together. How do we show people that after breaking the surface age barrier we can build close friendships and cooperate creatively?
